Vulva Whitening

Vulva Whitening

Fotona Laser

Hyperpigmentation can be caused by factors such as the natural process of ageing, hormonal changes and pregnancy, infections, and a number of other medical conditions. Anything that causes excess heat, inflammation, or friction can cause areas of the skin to darken.

Dr. Moussa will meet with the client to assess their need and discuss the procedure with them in full detail.

What does the whitening of the vulva using the Fotona laser consist of?

It involves a minimally invasive procedure entailing decolouration of the darkest areas of the skin in the outer genitalia using laser application in order to improve its aesthetic appearance. It can be applied to the pubic area, the groin area, the labia majora and the perianal area.

How long will I need in order to lead a normal life after treatment?

Fotona laser application is an outpatient treatment that does not require anesthesia or admission to the hospital. It will merely be advisable for you to adhere to the following recommendations:

  • Avoid exposure to sunlight in the area treated.
  • Avoid wearing tight items of clothing immediately after application
